At Auburn Mountainview, R.A.K.E. is nominating the Peterson family for The Wolf's (100.7, it's FANTASTIC country music, you should listen!) Christmas Wish. The day before Thanksgiving, Luke, a senior, fabulous wrestler, and the sweetest boy in the world, and his sister Stephanie, a sophomore, and their family, lost their apartment. The fire engulfed the entire unit, and they lost absolutely everything...and they didn't have much to start out with.
Along those same lines of bringing holiday cheer to people you may or may not know, I found this on the Warm 106.9 website (my mom listens to it, okay?! HA.). I know it's a little late to be starting it, but you can CERTAINLY choose random acts when they're convenient for you. Happy Holidays everyone!!
Tis' the season to get into the holiday spirit! What a nice way to spead the joy of the holidays by performing a Random Act of Holiday Kindness. You don't have to have a lot of money or a lot of time, just be creative and lead with your heart!
"Perhaps we're too embarrassed to change or too frightened of the consequences of showing that we actually care. But why not risk it anyway? Begin today. Carry out a random act of seemingly senseless kindness, with no expectation or reward or punishment. Safe in the knowledge that one day, someone somewhere might do the same for you." ~ Princess Diana~
